Libba Harmon, certified yoga teacher and licensed acupuncturist, found yoga in the early '90s, during her days as a Thai Boxer. When she decided to become a lover-not-a-fighter, Libba spent some time kicking around NYC, looking for some good asana. Being a downtown gal, Libba enjoyed the East Village yoga of years past, made sure to get in on some great visiting masters, andtaught at several downtown studios until the day she moved to Omaha, where she blossomed a busy acupuncture practice and brought sweaty NYC vinyasa to the Midwest set. Libba recently spent 2 years living in Panama, where she launched Rancho Kula, a yoga/surf retreat business. Libba's style has grown into a challenging hybrid of alignment-based and playful vinyasa, with periodic opportunity to tone it down considerably. . . here or there, you might catch her teaching a slower, lower practice.

Mar. 30 - Meditation & Mindfulness for Psychotherapistswith Richard Potter
1-4:30pm • $45
3.5 CEUs! • MUST RSVP!
Deepening the therapist's meditative practice and capacity for mindfulness is essential to using these powerful modalities with our clients. Meditation is also a very powerful self-care technique for therapists and is extremely useful in avoiding burn-out. More important than either of these is the effect of meditation on our consciousness for our personal growth and well-being. Lastly, as we become more and more aware, we are able to be of deeper service to our clients, families, communities, and the world around us.
This seminar will build upon practices learned in the first in the series, but we welcome and encourage those who were unable to attend the seminar in December to join us.

May 5 - "Awakening to a Full Life"with Richard Potter
1-4:30pm • $30
Living our everyday lives can often be described as sleepwalking. We are often not aware of what we are doing, thinking, feeling, and experiencing. A major step on the spiritual path is "awakening" - we discover the fact we have been asleep only because we wake up and experience the life we have been missing.
The question of why we have been asleep is complex, but one important factor is what I call the "wanting beast." The wanting beast is the constantly seeking, constantly wanting, never satisfied part of our sleeping consciousness that keeps us preoccupied with fitful dreams and unable to wake up to a full and real life.
In this seminar we will work with a variety of spiritual practices to discover the path to a full life and discovery of our true purpose in life, which is the natural antidote to the "wanting beast."
