Gerald Trimble and Fellows in Concert: "Alchemy in Time"
300-year old Viola da Gamba
October 19 | 8 pm - 11 pm | $10 in advance; $15 day of

A national treasure in our eyes, Gerald plays his 300 year old viola da gamba and more ancient instruments along with his band, blending contemporary techniques with traditional and middle-eastern styles.

Performing on original 17th- and 18th-century violas da gamba, Trimble creates a new style which spans a musical continuum of centuries and melds contemporary techniques with arcane, alchemical traditions in sound -- connecting cultures through the ages as he travels.

Voice, Movement, Intuition, and Play!
October 4 - November 8 | 7 pm - 8:15 pm | 6-week session | $135

Inspired by Bobby McFerrin's Circle Singing, along with chant and rhythmic improvisation, this class will focus on the development and expression of our own intuition, acceptance, perception, and inherent musicality. Experience the power of community through voice and discover the essence of your own inner voice through facilitated song and sound. Expect this course to be joyfully transformative as we open our hearts and deepen our connections to self and others.

Facilitator: Susie Thorne

No musical skill set required, however, participants should be able to match pitch and move freely. (Maximum 25 participants)
